1.1.1.2   maekawa    25: Most subdirectories contain machine-dependent code, written in assembly or C.
                     26: The `generic' subdirectory contains default code, used when there is no

                     33: `generic' subdirectory.  The ISA-specific subdirectories contain hierachies of
